Gould Engineering, Inc. (GEI) is continually keeping our field and office personnel informed of new technologies through manufacturer’s demonstrations and continued educational seminars both in technology and personal enhancement.
Our field personnel is proficient with our company owned surveying equipment which includes, GPS units, digital levels, automatic levels, total stations, data collectors, and computer applications and procedures to transfer electronic field data to obtain project specification and time frame.
Technical equipment used by GEI includes:
- 4 GPS Receiver Units allowing to conduct RTK and post processed application
- 2 Total Stations
- 1 Robotic Total Station
- 2 Digital Levels with computer interface
- 2 Auto Levels
- 5 Data Collectors
- 12 Computer-Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) Workstations
- 4 Administrative Office Computers
- 3 Notebook Computers
- 1 Wide Format Digital Print System including a color scanner and multi roll printer
- 1 Wide Format Color Inkjet Printer
- 1 Laser Printer for letter and legal size documents
- 1 Color Copier/Printer/Scanner for up to 11”x17” size documents
- 1 Flatbed Fax/Copier/Printer/Scanner for up to legal size documents
- 2 Digital Cameras
- 6 Cell Phones with 5 having cameras for all field crews and principals
All office equipment is connected to a Local Area Network Server.
GEI has a high speed internet connection to the World Wide Web and for Email, giving all networked computers access.
