Education
and Registration
In
1976 Kevin received an Associate Degree in Surveying-Drafting from
Mott Community College in Flint, Michigan. He then transferred to Ferris State University, Big Rapids,
Michigan and was awarded a Bachelor of Science Degree in Land
Surveying two years later.Since
then he has attended continuing education seminars on numerous
topics related to the engineering and surveying professions.Kevin was licensed as a Professional Surveyor in 1981.He became a principal of the firm in 1998.
Experience
Kevin began working at GEI prior to graduating from college.
Earlier in his career he held the position of crew chief
and worked on all phases of land development, municipal,
industrial and construction surveying projects. He has extensive experience in electronic data collection and
layout procedures. Additionally,
he is well versed in the field applications of Global Positioning
System (GPS) survey work. In
the office environment, his experience includes surveying
calculations, land development design, and the drafting of
subdivision plats and condominium projects. Kevin assists our computer manager with field/office
computer coordination and staff training.
